685 Market St (Monadnock Building), San Francisco (415) 541-9400

The historic Monadnock Building, 685 Market Street in San Francisco, survived the 1906
Earthquake only to be tarnished by the presence of one of its less than reputable tenants.

The prices sound too good to be true and they are! This store goes by many different names (I have found eight so far). You can tell that they are all the same store by the telephone number and address.

Think Wireless billed my credit card twice for the same order and refused to remove the second charge, despite me complying with their request for a copy of my credit card statement. It took months of dealing with my credit card company to get them to permanently credit my account. They also sent me a fake Motorola leather case which did not fit my phone and had a non-existent Motorola product number on it. They also go by the name Exotic Wireless (www.exoticwireless.com) and San Francisco Mobile (www.sfmobile.com) and 007PCS.com and www.iphonespcs.com and Wireless Zone and iTrade.

I have received e-mails and seen follow-up Usenet posts from others regarding problems with this company:

"I recently made a purchase from this company over the internet and they sent me someone else's order and they won't return my calls or respond to my emails."

"I too was sent an item that was wrong and after many calls I finally reached someone and told me to send it back for an exchange, well I never got the item and later send me a email the item will be sent. After complaining to Yahoo which is useless, I contacted my credit card company which is still in dispute with these crooks."

There are two ratings of this reseller at http://www.resellerratings.com/seller3757.html, both are "very dissatisfied:"

"Ordered a V60i battery. They sent wrong battery to date will not return phone calls or emails. Very poor service.Need to return battery to get correct battery. Need RMA#"

"Ordered 3 items for a Motorola cell phone: Hands-free car kit, Desktop cradle, USB Data Kit. Chose and paid for UPS Ground as delivery option. Items were send via USPS. Car kit and desktop cradle were brand new, USB data kit was obviously well used. Sent e-mail, and left voice messages asking to be contacted regarding receiving a used item instead of the new item I paid for, no response whatsoever."

This company has a 2-3 star rating at Yahoo Shopping depending on the alias. This is a terrible rating, even though Yahoo says that a 3 is good and a 2 is fair. Few reputable companies have less than a 4 star rating.
