Preferred Roaming List (PRL) Upgrades

CDMA phones contain a list of carriers that the phone can roam onto when service on the primary carrier is not available. Be very careful about doing over the air upgrades of this list as you may lose coverage. Verizon has been steadily worsening the coverage of their America's Choice plan by removing roaming partners from this list. Users are finding that they are losing coverage when they upgrade the PRL, and there is no way to go back to an earlier PRL. See: http://www.mountainwireless.com/prl.htm for information on PRLs.
